A warm welcome to Italy!
Connecting the dots… of contamination control!

It is a great privilege for ASCCA, the Italian Society of Contamination Control, to host in Milan – Italy, the 26th edition of ISCC, International Symposium of Contamination Control on behalf of ICCCS, International Confederation of Contamination Control Societies. The ISCC2024 will bring together leading technology providers, end users of the different areas of use of contamination control, academic scientists, and international regulators to network, share insights and provide an outlook on the evolving landscape and future of cleanroom technology and side applications.

ASCCA was established in 1981 and since then we have understood the value to meet our community of experts every two years. In 1986 ASCCA already had the honor to host the ISCC and this event has been the driving force for the development of our association ever since to the present days.

The 26th symposium theme is “connecting the dots… of contamination control” highlighting the link of different technologies and applications interconnecting various aspects of Contamination Control. The aim is to provide quality, robustness and reliability of the different processes in any area of utilization such as biotech, pharmaceutical, healthcare, aerospace, electronics, semiconductor, automotive and last but not least the preservation of the artistic heritage.

Integrating such different knowledge and skills is the key of innovation. Hence, the Symposium will provide an interdisciplinary program for all stakeholders of the contamination control chain creating an interactive scenario to exchange ideas, strengthen existing research networks and build new ones. The symposium agenda will showcase recent innovations and trends, and directly discuss practical challenges and solutions, from a technical, logistical, and regulatory standpoint.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with industry leaders, regulators, and peers through networking events like workshops, tutorials and site visits.

ASCCA will host as well ISO TC 209 delegates from 23 member countries, who have continuously worked on developing ISO 14644 family of contamination control standards since 1993. At the end of the symposium ICCCS Board of Directors and the Council of Delegates meeting will also take place in Milan.

On behalf of ASCCA and the whole organization team, we look forward to meeting you in Milan in October 2024… and do not forget to discover the wonders of Italy!
